We are waiting with extreme anticipation for the title and trailer for the upcoming fourth Avengers film. Like any big sequel, this one is wrapped in secrecy, which means the internet is having a field day conjuring up theories. Now, we know theories are a great way to set us up for disaster, just look at The Last Jedi, but this one may have some validity. It suggests that Nick Fury knew about the snap all along and that all the events in the MCU that have had felt his influence were done to steer the Avengers towards the battle with Thanos in hopes of winning. It’s been long theorized that time travel will play a role in the fourth film as a way to undo the infamous snap and that will happen with the help of the Quantum Realm, something we’ve seen in Ant-Man. That realm will likely also appear in the upcoming Captain Marvel film, which will be a prequel film set in the 90s and will feature Nick Fury in a supporting role. So these two have known each other for a while. With the foresight of the future, Fury was able to set up a team for Avengers to be prepared for a universe ending event and saved his call to Captain Marvel as a last resort as he knew the Avengers could handle Ultron, Malakeith and other MCU villains fine as he saw the future in the Quantum Realm. Once people started dusting, he knows his apocalypse was upon him and called Carol. He just didn’t know his number was up too. From there, Iron Man will have to help the Avengers get into the Quantum Realm and Captain Marvel will be the one to navigate them through space and time. There are a lot of movies out there, and with every popular movie comes a fan base to follow. There are perhaps no fans more dedicated, more enthusiastic, and more investigative than Star Wars fans. They are obsessed with their favourite movie franchise, and everything about it. So much so, that they have become unbelievable at predicting what is going to happen in the future, often based off of little more than a teaser trailer and an idea. Fans have gotten so good at predicting these plot points, that they almost kind of ruin it for themselves! They predicted a ton of things that turned out to be true, like the fact that Darth Maul didn’t actually die in Phantom Menace, or that jar Jar Binks would turn out to be a Sith Lord. How about the fact that Obi Wan knew R2-D2 and C-3P0 from before, or that Boba Fett also made it out alive, and that Luke had used a compass from the video game to find a hidden Jedi Temple. They guessed that E.T The Extra Terrestrial actually takes place in the same universe as Star Wars, that Poe would be saved by Finn because of a jacket in the trailer, that Kylo Ren turned Luke’s students to the dark side and they became the Knights of Ren, that Princess Leia would have a special connection with the force as well, that Kylo Ren would have actually been trained by Luke before turning to the dark side, and that Luke would exile himself out of guilt. That’s not even all that these amazingly dedicated fans have predicted, and it sure won’t be the last!

Hey you guys, it's none other than your friendly neighbourhood Screen Rant again!

It's now been confirmed that Quentin Beck AKA Mysterio will be the main villain in next year's Spider-Man: Far From Home movie - and he'll be played by Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (of Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain and Southpaw fame).

There is, however, a theory that he'll be working on behalf of someone more powerful than himself, given that he's not exactly the most powerful threat Spider-Man has ever encountered in the comic books - and in this video, we'll be discussing why that's the case and who his master could be.

The potential masters in question are; Adrian Toomes AKA the Vulture (who was played by Michael Keaton in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and will reappear in Far From Home), Norman Osborn (who hasn't appeared in the MCU yet, but who could be a major villain going forward in the franchise), Loki (who's been played by Tom Hiddleston in the MCU since 2011's Thor movie), Dormammu (who appeared in 2016's Doctor Strange movie, where he was voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), and Thanos (who's the current big-bad in the MCU and is voiced by Josh Brolin, having first appeared in the mid-credits scene of 2012's Avengers movie).

The DCEU is the shared movie universe, distributed by Warner Bros, for DC's iconic superheroes like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

The movies in the franchise so far have been Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Wonder Woman (2017) and Justice League (2017).

It's fair to say it hasn't gone as smoothly as the people behind it would have liked - only Wonder Woman has truly been universally liked - and in this documentary, we'll take a look at why that's been the case.

Factors include there not being one person driving the franchise, the lack of consistency in terms of the movies' formulas, and the rushed nature of the franchise's bigger installments.

It also hasn't helped matters that the franchise is regularly compared to the Dark Knight Trilogy (which it directly followed), the TV Arrowverse (which proves live action DC projects CAN still be fantastic), and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (DC's direct rivals who are totally nailing the movie thing right now).

But there IS still time to reverse the franchise's fortunes - and they can start this year with Aquaman, which has the potential to be fantastic if it's done right!

There's so much untapped potential in DC's comic books, just waiting to be adapted into awesome movies!

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos’ snap changed everything we thought we knew about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also realigned the playing field on which our favorite heroes could fight our most despised villain. In order to make Thanos as threatening as possible, they had to draw out the conflict across multiple movies and, wisely, the MCU creative team decided to deliver on Thanos’ promise to remake the universe. While many of our favorite newer characters were instantaneously wiped out of existence, the original Avengers team stayed intact. Likely, to bring the battle back to Thanos for the big finale in Avengers 4. Although many more characters will likely meet a permanent demise in the follow up to Infinity War, ScreenRant has culled through the reports, checked up on the spoilers and listened to the quotes from the creative team themselves to confirm for you which 10 dead Marvel heroes will be resurrected for the next movie.

Since we were all so shocked by the conclusion of the last film, can we trust everything we hear? Probably not. But while we wait for the debut of the fourth Avengers film let’s hope to see the returned faces of Loki, Spider-Man, Gamora, Falcon, Bucky, Nick Fury, Hope Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Vision and the other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. We didn’t think these characters could really fade away forever and, according to this news, they’ll likely make a big return.

The Pixar Theory has existed for a few years now and has conceived a good chunk of the internet that it is real. It suggests that all the Pixar films are actually connected into one cinematic universe and that all Pixar films are telling one story in a non-chronological order timeline. The biggest take away from the theory is that magic is real, animals can think and eventually rise against the humans, creating a dystopian future which leads the way for Wall-E, Cars and Monsters Inc thousands of years in the future. It’s all very compelling, except for these problems. Chief among them is that this is still just a fan theory! No one from Disney or Pixar has confirmed its existence. In fact, many Pixar directors have come up stating that the theory is actually insane, including the directors of Inside Out, the art director of Cars and the director of Brave, a film that is crucial to the theory’s existence. The problems only pile up more from there, including that Muntz from Up somehow got the idea of the dog collars from Ratatouille, despite him being lost in the rainforest in South America for decades. A big part of the theory rides on Boo from Monsters Inc being the Witch in Brave, but that makes no sense for multiple reasons! First being that the doors can’t be time traveling portals and second is that Mike fixed the portal to Boo’s room, thus negating the need for Boo to be searching for Sully. The Pixar Shorts also create a dent in the theory as some of them are characters in the Pixar universe and some are not. Oh-and they totally mess with the timeline. Finding Dory challenges the animosity between humans and animals while the bear in Brave was never shown to interact with animals, which is said to be the origin of animals being able to speak. A Bug’s Life can no way take place after Wall-E and the Omnidroid in the Incredibles wasn’t thinking on it’s own due to magic, it was simply bad programing from Syndrome.

The Force is an unusual and fascinating part of Star Wars mythos. It can do all kinds of amazing features, yet the films have only scratched the surface of what the Force is capable of. If you thought Astral Projection was out there, then the old EU had a ton of stuff that really was out there and would not translate well to film. But a lot of it is truly awesome, such as the ability known as Tapas, which Leia should’ve likely used during her space scene in The Last Jedi. Cloak of Shadow sounds like something out of a Lord of the Rings game but is a pretty nifty move. Force Healing will be familiar to anyone who has played an old Star Wars game, while Force Flash acts as a galaxy far, far away’s version of a flashbang. There are some deep cuts that we found, such as Flow Walking and Malacia, and Deadly Sight is basically the Star Wars equivalent of Superman’s laser vision. Torture by Chagrin is a cruel and unusual move that uses memories while Art of the Small makes midichlorians look normal. Battle Meditation is best known from Knights of the Old Republic, while Shatterpoint is a staple move of Mace Windu. There are moves like Thought Bomb and Planet Drain that the Sith mastered and question the need of the Death Star and Starkiller Base. Fold Space allows for instant teleportation while transfer essence allows for the mind to travel into a new body. Combustion will never, ever make it to the big screen due to how nasty it is. And like Barry Allen, some Force users can phase through objects!

When Venom was announced, when Venom was filming, and when Venom was released, all anyone could talk about was the inclusion of Spider-Man. Would there be an Easter Egg. A secret meeting between the two. How could Sony do a Venom movie without Peter Parker?! Well, they pulled it off. Not even a mention of Spider-Man, Parker, or Mary-Jane. They avoided Spidey like the plague, but fans are still desperate to see a connection between the two. And will they get it? Maybe, but not in the way you’d like. According to some theories, Spider-Man may already be dead in Venom’s world -- and no we’re not talking Thanos’s finger snap. This death would be way before that.

Thanos’s introduction in Infinity War has raised the bar for Marvel villains. While we’re still pondering how the Avengers will be able to take him on in Avengers 4, there are rumors going ‘round that our favorite superhero team might have even more villains to take on. There are plenty of possibilities for enemies even worse than Thanos.

First and foremost, there’s Galactus. This planet-consuming entity has yet to truly get his due on the big screen and Avengers 4 could be the perfect introduction. There’s also Mephisto, a powerful being who essentially functions as the Marvel Universe’s version of Satan. There’s also the possibility that Annihilus could make an appearance, especially if Avengers 4’s rumored subtitle ‘Annihilation’ proves to be accurate. The Skrulls are making their film debut in 2019’s Captain Marvel. We’re willing to bet the timing of their first appearance might be a hint that they’ll play a part in Avengers 4. Fans might have been disappointed by Iron Man 3’s version of the Mandarin, but there’s always the possibility the TRUE Mandarin could make an appearance in a future Avengers film. There are also the more cosmic entities such as Dormammu from Doctor Strange or Magus, Adam Warlock’s evil future self, and the Beyonder, the individual who started the infamous Secret Wars.

There are even more villains we think could prove just as formidable as Thanos if not more so. We explore some of the most intriguing possibilities in this new video, so check it out!
