When Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Infinity War, we saw many prominent heroes turn to dust including Black Panther, Groot, and Spider-Man. So who is left to take on the big purple man?! Well, some pretty powerful heroes! We have a majority of the Avengers -- including Iron Man and Captain America -- it just all depends how these hero buddies are able to actually get along. Outside of the Avengers, there are many people who will come to the aid of our favorite heroes -- possibly traveling through time to come up with some way of stopping Thanos and ensuring that the snap never happens and everything has the potential to reverse course.

Our heroes will likely feel defeated after the Thanos snap. They somehow need to find a way to use their powers and come together for the better of the world. Thankfully, there will be some new heroes who can join the fray, make a difference, and help save everyone involved. The strongest characters include some surprising choices and ones who will definitely be appearing in The Avengers 4. The real question we have is how will the heroes team up together, will they travel through time, and will we see the debut of anyone new?! Does Thanos know who is left standing and ready to take him on or is he in for a huge surprise by the time the Avengers 4 is released?! Thanos’s introduction in Infinity War has raised the bar for Marvel villains. While we’re still pondering how the Avengers will be able to take him on in Avengers 4, there are rumors going ‘round that our favorite superhero team might have even more villains to take on. There are plenty of possibilities for enemies even worse than Thanos.

First and foremost, there’s Galactus. This planet-consuming entity has yet to truly get his due on the big screen and Avengers 4 could be the perfect introduction. There’s also Mephisto, a powerful being who essentially functions as the Marvel Universe’s version of Satan. There’s also the possibility that Annihilus could make an appearance, especially if Avengers 4’s rumored subtitle ‘Annihilation’ proves to be accurate. The Skrulls are making their film debut in 2019’s Captain Marvel. We’re willing to bet the timing of their first appearance might be a hint that they’ll play a part in Avengers 4. Fans might have been disappointed by Iron Man 3’s version of the Mandarin, but there’s always the possibility the TRUE Mandarin could make an appearance in a future Avengers film. There are also the more cosmic entities such as Dormammu from Doctor Strange or Magus, Adam Warlock’s evil future self, and the Beyonder, the individual who started the infamous Secret Wars.

The Mad Titan Thanos is one of the most powerful villains in Marvel Comics.

Sure, the Marvel Cinematic Universe version is pretty powerful - especially with the Infinity Stones - but he hasn't displayed anything like the level of power he has in the comic books.

But he's not unbeatable - far from it, in fact. There are plenty of characters out there who can get the better of him - including several in Marvel, such as the One-Above-All, the Living Tribunal, Galactus and Odin.

In this video, however, we'll look at twenty characters from DC Comics who can beat the prune-chinned bad guy (and no, Batman fans, the Dark Knight absolutely ISN'T one of them - not in ANY circumstances!).

The characters in question are; the 5D Imp Mister Mxyzptlk, the Mite Dimension Imp Bat-Mite, Emperor Joker (the Joker when he possessed 99% of the power of a 5D Imp), the fallen archangel Lucifer Morningstar, the Green Lantern Corps (as a collective, with the Guardians etc), the members of the group known as the Endless (Dream, Death, Destruction, Desire, Despair, Delerium and Destiny), the Black Lantern Corps' leader Nekron, the wizard Shazam, the highly adaptive Kryptonian monster Doomsday, the Destroyer of Galaxies known as Imperiex, the mysterious Phantom Stranger, the Pre-Crisis version of Superman, the Pre-Crisis version of Darkseid, the monstrous Pre-Crisis version of Validus, the cosmic fear entity known as Parallax, the Watchmen's Doctor Manhattan, the godly Spectre, the cosmic villain the Anti-Monitor, the soul of darkness itself known as the Great Evil Beast, and the incredibly powerful creator being known as the Presence.

The ending of Avengers: Infinity War shocked audiences around the world, and left the fate of the entire MCU hanging by a thread. With no idea how it is possible to recover from half of the universe being destroyed in a single moment, not to mention the deaths of some of our most beloved characters, including Spider Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, T’Challa, Loki, and more, fans everywhere are desperate to know how Avengers 4 is going to go down. Are they really dead? Is it possible to imagine an MCU without the heroes we have come to know and love? Who is finally going to be able to stop the unstoppable Thanos?

With all of these questions swirling around everyone’s minds, some pretty amazing theories have come into play, like this one about Shuri, the young sister of T’Challa and one of the smartest women in Wakanda, and possibly the planet. Some think that it’s totally possible that Shuri will become the next Black Panther, as she would clearly be an amazing leader and is next in line for the throne. With that responsibility, her trip to the Ancestral Plane could reveal some pretty huge truths about the fate of her brother and the other half of the universe. If T’Challa is there in the Ancestral Plane, then it means that he really has died, and they must find a way to travel back in time and reverse Thanos’ snap. And if he isn’t, could everyone have been transported to another dimension entirely? Shuri is obviously a brilliant and amazing candidate for Black Panther, and we would trust her with the fate of the universe in her more than capable hands.
