Hey you guys, it's none other than your friendly neighbourhood Screen Rant again!

It's now been confirmed that Quentin Beck AKA Mysterio will be the main villain in next year's Spider-Man: Far From Home movie - and he'll be played by Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (of Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain and Southpaw fame).

There is, however, a theory that he'll be working on behalf of someone more powerful than himself, given that he's not exactly the most powerful threat Spider-Man has ever encountered in the comic books - and in this video, we'll be discussing why that's the case and who his master could be.

The potential masters in question are; Adrian Toomes AKA the Vulture (who was played by Michael Keaton in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and will reappear in Far From Home), Norman Osborn (who hasn't appeared in the MCU yet, but who could be a major villain going forward in the franchise), Loki (who's been played by Tom Hiddleston in the MCU since 2011's Thor movie), Dormammu (who appeared in 2016's Doctor Strange movie, where he was voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), and Thanos (who's the current big-bad in the MCU and is voiced by Josh Brolin, having first appeared in the mid-credits scene of 2012's Avengers movie).

If you’re a fan of Spider-man, comics, animation, or just movies in general, you should absolutely head out to the theatres immediately to see Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse! It’s one of the best animated movies ever, one of the best Marvel movies ever, and just about one of the best movies ever. The creators are clearly huge fans of everything Spidey, and know their stuff! This movie could not be more packed with amazing references to everything Spiderman, pop culture, and beyond! Read ahead with caution, as there are about to be a ton of spoilers. Some of the best hidden moments in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse are those that only the biggest fans might notice. Like the fact that they throw in a ton of references to the Sam Raimi original trilogy, like the upside down kiss, the train scene, and the evil Peter Parker’s amazing dance moves. They also include the logo for the CAA, which is a reference to when comic books suffered under government censorship, and both the Spider Man popsicle and the breakfast cereal that was popular in the 90’s and part of a balanced breakfast. There is an amazing Donald Glover/Community easter egg hidden in the Morales home, and more classic Spider-Man cartoon memes than we can count. Some believe that Chris Pine is actually Ben Riley, Spider Man’s blonde clone. The post credits scene sees Oscar Isaac as Spider Man 2099, the future Spidey going back in time to encounter the 1960’s animated version, and finally, an amazing scene featuring Stan Lee pays homage to the man who started it all.

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos’ snap changed everything we thought we knew about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also realigned the playing field on which our favorite heroes could fight our most despised villain. In order to make Thanos as threatening as possible, they had to draw out the conflict across multiple movies and, wisely, the MCU creative team decided to deliver on Thanos’ promise to remake the universe. While many of our favorite newer characters were instantaneously wiped out of existence, the original Avengers team stayed intact. Likely, to bring the battle back to Thanos for the big finale in Avengers 4. Although many more characters will likely meet a permanent demise in the follow up to Infinity War, ScreenRant has culled through the reports, checked up on the spoilers and listened to the quotes from the creative team themselves to confirm for you which 10 dead Marvel heroes will be resurrected for the next movie.

Since we were all so shocked by the conclusion of the last film, can we trust everything we hear? Probably not. But while we wait for the debut of the fourth Avengers film let’s hope to see the returned faces of Loki, Spider-Man, Gamora, Falcon, Bucky, Nick Fury, Hope Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Vision and the other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. We didn’t think these characters could really fade away forever and, according to this news, they’ll likely make a big return.

So the first Avengers 4 trailer just dropped and it's official - the Infinity War sequel is going to be called Avengers: Endgame! EXCITING, RIGHT?!?!

That WAS one of the many previously touted titles that fans had been predicting, but that doesn't mean we're any less excited about it now that it's been confirmed!

It really is certain to be an exciting emotional rollercoaster ride of a movie - and we simply can't wait to see it!

But what exactly does that title mean for the movie? In this video, we'll be theorising about that.

It's obviously a call-back to the fact both Tony Stark (in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Doctor Strange (in this year's Avengers: Infinity War) have used the term in the MCU before - and that would certainly suggest those two characters will be particularly important in this movie.

"Endgame" is a chess term, when only a few pieces are left on the board - which would suggest the surviving heroes have some kind of chess-esque strategy planned in order to defeat Thanos and undo what he did in Infinity War.

The word "end" also suggests death, so there WILL be heartbreak, but the word "game" suggests there might be some fun moments to offset that a little! We will have to wait and see!

Venom is one of the most popular Marvel villains out there and it’s no wonder why. He’s powerful, he’s brutal and he’s got an iconic suit. It kind of makes you wonder: what would all the other Marvel characters look like if they were to gain control of a symbiote suit - or should we say ‘if a symbiote suit were to gain control of them?’ Not only are would your abilities be enhanced, your skills amplified to unmatched levels of power, but we’re willing to bet the new Venomized costumes would be pretty cool as well.

Take Wolverine, for instance. With his berserker rage and his claws, he’s already an unstoppable fighting force. Adding a symbiote to the mix would make him even more undefeatable. Or maybe a character like Daredevil, whose already amplified senses would be cranked up to eleven, not to mention his increased strength. Dark Phoenix is a force to be reckoned with as is, but with a symbiote on her side, she might be truly invincible. And even irreverent characters such as Deadpool and Gwenpool might see an advantage to bonding with a symbiote like Venom. Doctor Strange, the Master of the Mystic Arts, already has his hand in the realm of unknowable powers and by bonding with a symbiote, there’s no doubt he’d look pretty awesome.

These are just a few of the cool Marvel characters who would end up being even cooler as their Venomized counterparts. Let’s take a look at the entire list to determine which characters would work better with a symbiote at their side.

We haven't seen Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton since 2016's epic Captain America: Civil War movie, so it's extremely exciting that he'll be making his MCU return in 2019's Avengers: Endgame.

That's a huge movie for any character to play a part in, given the cosmic nature of the events that will undoubtedly unfold in it - but for a guy who's completely human and non-superpowered like Barton, it might seem a bit above his paygrade and beyond his ability to play a major part in.

But there's actually a theory suggesting he's actually going to be a BIG player in Avengers: Endgame - and that he might even end up being the MVP in the fightback against Thanos.

In this video, we'll be taking you through some convincing evidence that shows that might be the case.

The reasons for this theory are; that the trailer made him a focal point, that he's changed his persona from Hawkeye to Ronin (which seems like a waste of time if he's only going to play a minor part), that he was completely absent from Avengers: Infinity War (suggesting an epic return is on the cards), that he's angry and has nothing to lose (after his family were erased from existence in The Decimation), that there's evidence to suggest he gets recruited late in the movie as a trump card of sorts, that he played down his own worth in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron (which could have been a form of "reverse psychology" as far as foreshadowing his importance was concerned), and that his abilities are suited to taking opponents (i.e. Thanos) by surprise.

When next year's fourth Avengers movie comes to its inevitably thrilling climax, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will never be the same - it's expected to undergo some BIG changes.

One of those changes is, potentially, the introduction of characters who were previously unavailable for use by Marvel Studios - thanks largely to Disney's imminent acquisition of Fox.

The mutants known as the X-Men are certainly the highest-profile of those expected new arrivals, but the Fantastic Four may well join the MCU as well - and in this video, we'll be theorising just one of the many ways in which Marvel's first family could be introduced.

It involves the Quantum Realm - the subatomic dimension that was introduced to MCU audiences in 2015's Ant-Man movie (and which is expected to play a big part in the franchise going forward, not least in the aforementioned Avengers 4).

So, in the MCU, instead of getting their powers from space like in the comics and the first Fantastic Four movie franchise, or from the Negative Zone like in the 2015 Fant4stic reboot, could Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Ben Grimm (The Thing), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) and Johnny Storm (Human Torch) get their powers from the Quantum Realm? It's certainly a distinct possibility!

Thanos’s introduction in Infinity War has raised the bar for Marvel villains. While we’re still pondering how the Avengers will be able to take him on in Avengers 4, there are rumors going ‘round that our favorite superhero team might have even more villains to take on. There are plenty of possibilities for enemies even worse than Thanos.

First and foremost, there’s Galactus. This planet-consuming entity has yet to truly get his due on the big screen and Avengers 4 could be the perfect introduction. There’s also Mephisto, a powerful being who essentially functions as the Marvel Universe’s version of Satan. There’s also the possibility that Annihilus could make an appearance, especially if Avengers 4’s rumored subtitle ‘Annihilation’ proves to be accurate. The Skrulls are making their film debut in 2019’s Captain Marvel. We’re willing to bet the timing of their first appearance might be a hint that they’ll play a part in Avengers 4. Fans might have been disappointed by Iron Man 3’s version of the Mandarin, but there’s always the possibility the TRUE Mandarin could make an appearance in a future Avengers film. There are also the more cosmic entities such as Dormammu from Doctor Strange or Magus, Adam Warlock’s evil future self, and the Beyonder, the individual who started the infamous Secret Wars.
