We are waiting with extreme anticipation for the title and trailer for the upcoming fourth Avengers film. Like any big sequel, this one is wrapped in secrecy, which means the internet is having a field day conjuring up theories. Now, we know theories are a great way to set us up for disaster, just look at The Last Jedi, but this one may have some validity. It suggests that Nick Fury knew about the snap all along and that all the events in the MCU that have had felt his influence were done to steer the Avengers towards the battle with Thanos in hopes of winning. It’s been long theorized that time travel will play a role in the fourth film as a way to undo the infamous snap and that will happen with the help of the Quantum Realm, something we’ve seen in Ant-Man. That realm will likely also appear in the upcoming Captain Marvel film, which will be a prequel film set in the 90s and will feature Nick Fury in a supporting role. So these two have known each other for a while. With the foresight of the future, Fury was able to set up a team for Avengers to be prepared for a universe ending event and saved his call to Captain Marvel as a last resort as he knew the Avengers could handle Ultron, Malakeith and other MCU villains fine as he saw the future in the Quantum Realm. Once people started dusting, he knows his apocalypse was upon him and called Carol. He just didn’t know his number was up too. From there, Iron Man will have to help the Avengers get into the Quantum Realm and Captain Marvel will be the one to navigate them through space and time. So the first Avengers 4 trailer just dropped and it's official - the Infinity War sequel is going to be called Avengers: Endgame! EXCITING, RIGHT?!?!

That WAS one of the many previously touted titles that fans had been predicting, but that doesn't mean we're any less excited about it now that it's been confirmed!

It really is certain to be an exciting emotional rollercoaster ride of a movie - and we simply can't wait to see it!

But what exactly does that title mean for the movie? In this video, we'll be theorising about that.

It's obviously a call-back to the fact both Tony Stark (in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Doctor Strange (in this year's Avengers: Infinity War) have used the term in the MCU before - and that would certainly suggest those two characters will be particularly important in this movie.

"Endgame" is a chess term, when only a few pieces are left on the board - which would suggest the surviving heroes have some kind of chess-esque strategy planned in order to defeat Thanos and undo what he did in Infinity War.

The word "end" also suggests death, so there WILL be heartbreak, but the word "game" suggests there might be some fun moments to offset that a little! We will have to wait and see!

When Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Infinity War, we saw many prominent heroes turn to dust including Black Panther, Groot, and Spider-Man. So who is left to take on the big purple man?! Well, some pretty powerful heroes! We have a majority of the Avengers -- including Iron Man and Captain America -- it just all depends how these hero buddies are able to actually get along. Outside of the Avengers, there are many people who will come to the aid of our favorite heroes -- possibly traveling through time to come up with some way of stopping Thanos and ensuring that the snap never happens and everything has the potential to reverse course.

Thanos’s introduction in Infinity War has raised the bar for Marvel villains. While we’re still pondering how the Avengers will be able to take him on in Avengers 4, there are rumors going ‘round that our favorite superhero team might have even more villains to take on. There are plenty of possibilities for enemies even worse than Thanos.

First and foremost, there’s Galactus. This planet-consuming entity has yet to truly get his due on the big screen and Avengers 4 could be the perfect introduction. There’s also Mephisto, a powerful being who essentially functions as the Marvel Universe’s version of Satan. There’s also the possibility that Annihilus could make an appearance, especially if Avengers 4’s rumored subtitle ‘Annihilation’ proves to be accurate. The Skrulls are making their film debut in 2019’s Captain Marvel. We’re willing to bet the timing of their first appearance might be a hint that they’ll play a part in Avengers 4. Fans might have been disappointed by Iron Man 3’s version of the Mandarin, but there’s always the possibility the TRUE Mandarin could make an appearance in a future Avengers film. There are also the more cosmic entities such as Dormammu from Doctor Strange or Magus, Adam Warlock’s evil future self, and the Beyonder, the individual who started the infamous Secret Wars.

Back in 2000, eight years before the MCU started, we didn’t have many superhero films, but we did have the X-Men, among some other comic-book films. While the X-men films franchise had some not so great films, we also had some really amazing X-men films, especially X-men 2, First Class, Days of Future Past, Deadpool and of course Logan.
But this year, Disney had bought 20th Century Fox, and the X-men who for almost two decades were separate from the MCU, are not finally going to join the Avengers, Spider-Man, Black Panther and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
We are super excited about the fact that the X-men are going to join the Avengers, and can’t wait to see how Marvel studios will use the mutants. However, while we can’ wait to see the X-men join the MCU, part of us asks the question: will the X-men work in movie form?
We already had nine X-men films, two Deadpool films not including, and it seems like the great X-men characters never did get much chance to really shine on the big screen.
So, we here at Screen Rant believe that the best way to tell the amazing X-men stories is not in films, but on television form.
While it might be a crazy idea, we think television is the best way tell the X-men stories, and in this video we will explain how that will work, and how even if the X-men will be on television, they could still show up in the MCU films!

Avengers 4 will be coming out on May 3, 2019. After the shocking ending of Avengers Infinity War, everyone wants to find out what happens next. How will the heroes come back to life after the devastating snap that wiped out half of the life in the universe, which original Avenger will die, how will Thanos be defeated, and where, who and why is Gamora?
While we will need to wait for a while until we will get these answers, for now we can all just theorize about what happens in next year’s still untitled Avengers movie.
Of course, there are many theories online about Avengers 4, and many of them deal with time travel, most of those theories are based on photos from the set of Avengers 4. While our theory deals with time travel as well, we are taking the time travel theory and going crazy with it. Our theory is that not only Avengers 4 will deal with time travel, but it will deal with a time loop, a paradox that will throw the Avengers into a crazy adventure through time and space.
This time loop will not be something that the Avengers will be able to defeat easily, and it might be that the only way to break it and change time and prevent the snap is to sacrifice one of the original Avengers.
In this theory we will explore how this time loop theory will work, and how it might change the MCU forever.

The ending of Avengers: Infinity War shocked audiences around the world, and left the fate of the entire MCU hanging by a thread. With no idea how it is possible to recover from half of the universe being destroyed in a single moment, not to mention the deaths of some of our most beloved characters, including Spider Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, T’Challa, Loki, and more, fans everywhere are desperate to know how Avengers 4 is going to go down. Are they really dead? Is it possible to imagine an MCU without the heroes we have come to know and love? Who is finally going to be able to stop the unstoppable Thanos?

With all of these questions swirling around everyone’s minds, some pretty amazing theories have come into play, like this one about Shuri, the young sister of T’Challa and one of the smartest women in Wakanda, and possibly the planet. Some think that it’s totally possible that Shuri will become the next Black Panther, as she would clearly be an amazing leader and is next in line for the throne. With that responsibility, her trip to the Ancestral Plane could reveal some pretty huge truths about the fate of her brother and the other half of the universe. If T’Challa is there in the Ancestral Plane, then it means that he really has died, and they must find a way to travel back in time and reverse Thanos’ snap. And if he isn’t, could everyone have been transported to another dimension entirely? Shuri is obviously a brilliant and amazing candidate for Black Panther, and we would trust her with the fate of the universe in her more than capable hands.
