The high-quality trailers feature great sets, fun cameos, and a whole new take on the movies. From Marvel to Star Wars, see some of the great classics and how SNL shaped them into hilarious comedies.

As Disney follows the trend of transitioning to live-action adaptations of their animated classics, Dwayne the Rock Johnson showcased his comedic acting chops in a parody of Bambi. Marvel’s lack of female-lead solo films was made fun of in the great trailer for a solo Black Widow movie. Instead of vampires, a Taylor Swift Twilight spoof featured a family of monsters created by Frankenstein. Djesus Uncrossed takes a fun look at Quentin Tarantino films and the ultra-violence presented in his historical retelling of stories. Young Adult dystopian movies like The Hunger Games and Maze Runner are sent up incredibly well for the parody entitled The Group Hopper. Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets a trailer spoof treatment where the actors showcase the differences between the younger and older generations. Wes Anderson movies are known for their quirky styles and SNL took a look at the possibility of a Wes Craven horror film starring Owen Wilson. Watch to see all of these increible spoofs that are often better than the movie itself!

The Joker is not just one of Batman’s biggest foes, but he is one of the greatest movie villains of all-time. The Harry Potter franchise is continuing like never before with the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, a sequel set during the times before Harry Potter was even born and the wizarding world we know and love even existed. Even though the film features a lot of characters who never appeared in Harry’s world, there are some secret connections the set is trying to keep underwraps. Thanks to extended trailers and some cast interviews, we now have confirmation of a huge theory that connects the movie to the one who shall not be named: Voldemort. While we don’t expect to see a young Voldemort in the film at all, we could get a glimpse of his powerful snake creature, Nagini. Nagini wasn’t always a snake as she was once in human form and Fantastic Beasts 2 will showcase her like never before.

The actress Claudia Kim is playing a character who was previously unnamed, but is now confirmed to be the role of Nagini. Will we get to her transform into a snake on-screen? Well, if her circus act is anything as impressive as it sounds, then we definitely will! Fans have already been speculating for months about the character’s name and having this final confirmation will make a huge difference on the way the story plays on screen. We know the snake’s fate in Harry Potter, but how will she transform into the evil creature and will she make contact with Lord Voldemort?! Only time will tell, but we’re certainly excited to see how the character is showcased in the November release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

This holiday season, Disney is breaking new ground with an epic fantasy not connected to the MCU or Star Wars. The larger-than-life world of the Nutcracker will be brought to life in Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. The film explores all new territory, but is it secretly connected to another Disney film?

In today’s theory, we will look at Disney’s newest film and the ways it may be building up a larger universe connected to the Disney animated classic Fantasia. The Fantasia movie had multiple musical sequences which could all branch out into their own movie and we have seen examples of this in the past. A Fantasia extended universe would not only bring some epic music into the fold, but we could get some of the most visual movies Disney has ever made. With Keira Knightly and Morgan Freeman as a part of the cast, the film has the chance to act as the introduction to several more great things to come. Sure, a Fantasia universe is completely unexpected, but the introduction and pay off could lead to great things for Disney as they continue to expand their company and impressive reputation. Watch to see all the clues and details about the Nutcracker and the Four Realms. We’re sure more information will be released when the movie finally hits theaters, but everything we’ve seen so far makes it seem pretty promising that the Nutcracker is just the beginning for this whole Fantasia franchise. With a ton of amazingly splashy trailers and a huge amount of buzz, the recent release of The Predator couldn’t have come any sooner. Fans were skeptical at first about this 2018 updated classic, but were quickly blown away by the impressive redesigned and reimagined aliens from galaxies far, far away. With a totally stacked cast that includes Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn, the adorable Jacob Tremblay, Boyd Holbrook, Moonlight’s Trevante Rhodes, Keegan Michael-Key, and more, this movie was bound to be full of awesome actions and tons of super cool one liners. But no matter how much a movie is set for success, there are always a few things that stick out to some fans as a little bit confusing. Like how does The Predator just lose the gauntlet that it has strapped to its arm in the very beginning? And, if it actually means to help save the human race, why did it wake up and go on a murderous rampage right off the bat? The Ultimate Predator’s ship seems to be powered by the same remote device that controls the escape pod, so is all of their technology interchangeable? How have they not improved their invisibility by now too? We lose track of where we are in the third act, and even the Hellhounds have some inconsistencies. Why did they make Quinn ride with The Loonies, and how on earth is a biologist such a totally badass fighter like the character of Casey is? Despite these questions, The Predator is still a feast for the eyes, and a great time at the movies.

DC has dipped into the Teen Titans pool numerous times over the years and the latest version looks to be one of the first ever live-action grouping of the Teen Titans heroes. Just like the comic book group, Robin leads the fray this time around, showcasing a much different side than fans are used to. Especially when compared to other versions of Robin like from Batman and Robin or the classic 1960’s Batman series, the Titans Robin looks to be very very different. One of the main things this Robin is known for is looking into the darkness.

The dark truth of the DC Titans show is Robin will be the darkest representation of the hero ever. He handles his anger in all the wrong ways and has already showcased some of the dark corners of the DC Universe he heads down. Not only does this version of the hero curse, but he is extremely violent and may not head towards Batman’s same code of no kills. Not only does Dick Grayson have a complicated history and family trauma, but he must also deal with Batman’s new sidekick in the form of Jason Todd. Exactly how they will butt heads will be interesting to see, along with a number of clues about how the character will move forward now that Batman has a new Robin. Watch to learn about the dark truth about the Titans show long before the series is set to go to air. See how the dark characters will evolve and how the MA-rated show will show a whole different side of the DCEU.
