DC has dipped into the Teen Titans pool numerous times over the years and the latest version looks to be one of the first ever live-action grouping of the Teen Titans heroes. Just like the comic book group, Robin leads the fray this time around, showcasing a much different side than fans are used to. Especially when compared to other versions of Robin like from Batman and Robin or the classic 1960’s Batman series, the Titans Robin looks to be very very different. One of the main things this Robin is known for is looking into the darkness.

The dark truth of the DC Titans show is Robin will be the darkest representation of the hero ever. He handles his anger in all the wrong ways and has already showcased some of the dark corners of the DC Universe he heads down. Not only does this version of the hero curse, but he is extremely violent and may not head towards Batman’s same code of no kills. Not only does Dick Grayson have a complicated history and family trauma, but he must also deal with Batman’s new sidekick in the form of Jason Todd. Exactly how they will butt heads will be interesting to see, along with a number of clues about how the character will move forward now that Batman has a new Robin. Watch to learn about the dark truth about the Titans show long before the series is set to go to air. See how the dark characters will evolve and how the MA-rated show will show a whole different side of the DCEU.

Teen Titans had its final episode way back in 2006 and since then, fans have been hopeful that a revived season 6 would bring the Titans back in action in their original animated form. Until that day comes, all we have left is to ponder over the many mysteries and plot holes that have been produced due to an unfinished storyline. As such, we really want to have the answers to these questions. For instance, just who is behind the Red X mask? We see the character a few times but still don’t know who he-or-she actually is. Robin has a briefcase full of his most prized possessions that was stolen in one episode. Upon retrieval, the Titans get to see what was inside of it but the audience didn’t! Over the seasons we get an idea of who the individual Titans are. Even Robin gets explored a bit. But Cyborg? That guy is a walking question mark. Blackfire is the troublesome sibling to Starfire and after a pretty crazy arc with her, she simply vanishes from the narrative. Where did she go? For most of the show’s runtime, fans were rooting for Robin and Starfire to get together and also hoping Beast Boy and Raven would be an item. While it happened for the former, the latter’s plotline was left hanging! Speaking of Raven, can we learn more about her mother? We’re also left wondering what happened to Tera and what happened to H.I.V.E. One somehow came back to life and the other foiled a witch’s plot but we never see how this happened or where it is going. We’d also like to learn more about Robin if possible and hope that Cyborg eventually finds someone to care for like the other four Titans. Also, when the Brotherhood of Evil attacks, where are all the other superhero organizations? Mas and Menos were created for the show, but we don’t know anything about them other than they’re fast. Red Star somehow overcame his radioactive powers but we never see how. The final villain is also a huge mystery. Like, who is that guy and where did he go? We also get no closure on the whereabouts of Slade Wilson-the chief antagonist of the whole series! Seriously, get season 6 greenlit now!
