Flying the Mavic Pro in below zero temperatures proved to be possible, only a few issues I didn't expect. The drone flew fine and the battery didn't seem to drain more than expected, but the video sucked. Unfortunately I couldn't tell this was happening until the footage was downloaded onto the PC as the mobile device screen was too small to see anything going on. So after nearly getting frostbite on my face and fingers, most of the video was loaded with video artifacts such as lines, stripes, "wobble" or wavy images, which I have since learned is referred to as the "Jello Effect" in the industry. So this artifact is hotly contested what actually is going on but my take is it is two fold. First, the electronics freeze and the data transfer gets compromised. This can somewhat be minimized by a high-end SD card which is listed below. This really helped the "banding" noise. The Jello effect is this wavy junk, and my take is that it is the gimbals vibration mounts harden up due to the cold. Not much that can be done except trying to keep the gimbal warm, or, not flying when it is sooo cold... Suck, I know...
