So, how tough is the Otterbox Preserver? From everything we've done to it, it's pretty tough BUT what happens when you take it to the limit? The part of the case that was most surprising to us? The black piece covering the speaker grill at the bottom of the case. That thin piece of black plastic is extremely pliable and we couldn't puncture it with our little screw driver.

The Touch ID film seems to be made from the same material as the one for LifeProof. The entire film is like a sticker and removing the film doesn't remove the hard plastic circle that surrounds the Touch ID sensor on the iPhone 5S. The wire meshes on the front that cover the ear piece speaker is actually 1 piece. The screen protector survived several stabbings from a kitchen knife but didn't far well against the exacto knife (but what would?).

The camera cover is made from glass and was fairly simple to break. The flash cover was a little more robust than the one on the LifeProof Fre but it was surprising how easily it came off.
