The Dark Knight came out in 2008, and it’s considered to be one of the best, if not the best, comic book movie of all time.
One of the main reasons why the film was so well received and loved was of course the outstanding and tariffing performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker.
While Ledger’s amazing acting blew everyone away, there might be something even more mind blowing about that version of the Joker.
The League of Shadows played a major role in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Their members were the main antagonist of two Batman films. They first made their appearance in Batman Begins. Ra's al Ghul was their leader, and they planned to use a fear toxin to destroy Gotham. They then made their return in The Dark Knight Rises, now being led by the masked terror, Bane. And once again planned to destroy Gotham, this time using a nuclear bomb.
But Batman was there to stop them.
Looking at the Dark Knight, there was no sign of the League of Shadows in that film. The Joker was the antagonist of the Dark Knight, and his plan was to destroy Gotham as well, but without using any world ending bombs, his attack on Gotham was psychological, he used fear and chaos to terrorize the people of Gotham.
And in this video, we will try to prove the theory that the Joker was actually a member of League of Shadows.
